The Lower Silesian Heart Diseases Centre MEDINET Non-public Health Care Institution (Dolnośląskie Centrum Chorób Serca „Medinet" Niepubliczny Zakład Opieki Zdrowotnej), was established in January 2002 as the first private hospital specializing in cardiac surgery in Poland.

We offer to our patients a comprehensive treatment of cardiac diseases which need surgery, i.e.:

• surgical treatment of coronary heart disease and its complications,
• surgical treatment of congenital and acquired heart diseases,
• surgical treatment of aortic aneurysms.

MEDINET performs cardiac surgery on children, as the only health care institution in the Lower Silesia region.

We also provide cardiac rehabilitation and perform diagnostic tests.

The Centre conducts heart surgeries with the use of the state-of-the-art medical technologies and in compliancewith the international medical standards.

All our actions are oriented towards maintaining the high quality of the services, and the benefit of our patients is of the highest priority to us.

We perform around 930 cardiac surgeries yearly, including around 150 operations on children.

The successes of the Centre are reflected in the rankings of public and non-public hospitals, sector competitions, certificates awarded in different fields and academic publications presented at scientific conferences in Poland and abroad.

We provide all health care services under the contract with the National Health Fund.

In 2003 MEDINET was granted a certificate of quality EN ISO 9001:2000 for specialist outpatient and inpatient health care services in heart diseases treatment, which has been later prolongedto year 2011. Additionally, DCCHS MEDINET has been granted the following certificates:
