CARDIAC SURGERY DEPARTMENT

The Cardiac Surgery Department of the Lower Silesian Heart Diseases Centre MEDINET – the Branch in Nowa Sól provides the following health services:

The Department has 16 beds. We respect patients’ right to privacy and place them in single and double rooms with bathrooms and TV.

POST-OPERATIVE CARE DEPARTMENT

The Post-operative Care Department monitors and supports all vital bodily functions in the period after the cardiac and vascular surgery in adults.
Advanced monitoring and therapeutic equipment ensures the highest level of patient safety in the post-surgery phase.
The patients of the Post-operative Care Department have the best post-operative care provided by a highlyqualified medical staff: anaesthesiologists, nurse anaesthetists and postoperative care nurses.

OPERATING SUITE

The operating suite is fitted with the advancedmedical equipment and instruments, which allows us to perform cardiac surgery in compliance with the highest medical standards. We specialize in:

Currently, minimal invasive surgeries are performed in the operating suite. We perform around 450 operations yearly.
A team of perfusionists cooperates closely with our cardiac surgeons. During the open heart surgery, perfusionists monitor the extracorporeal circulation both in adults and children. It is possible due to the heart-lung machine.
