The Lower Silesian Centre for Heart Diseases “MEDINET” was launched in January 2002 as the first Polish non-public cardiac specialty hospital. We are the only cardiac surgery centre in Lower Silesia performing surgery in children.
We provide services in the field of rehabilitation from the first day after surgery. We are currently implementing the provision of medical services in our centres in Wroclaw, Nowa Sol . We perform approximately 1,800 heart surgeries annually, including about 150 in children.
All our services are provided within a contract with the NFZ (National Health Fund). We provide high-quality specialist care (including cardiac surgeons, anaesthesiologists, cardiologists, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists). Our patients receive comprehensive and clear information on the treatment process.
In respect of our patients'; privacy, we provide stay in single and double rooms. All patient rooms have private bathroom and TV.
The Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care provides post-surgery intensive care. Modern equipment and therapeutic monitoring ensure the highest level of safety for patients in the postoperative period.
Rehabilitation activities are carried out in strict accordance with the patients' capabilities and doctors' orders. It is a time of systematic training to achieve improved cardiovascular endurance and overall psychophysical fitness.
We provide outpatient specialist cardiology care in the Lower Silesian Cardiac Diagnostics and Treatment Centre equipped with unique diagnostic facilities.
